Access to the workforce in casinos appears to be the central topic of future studies on the health and safety of casino workers. While the economic impact of creating jobs and boosting the economy is often a driving force behind the introduction of casinos, the benefits of casino gambling must be considered in the context of potential damage. The authors added descriptive results that suggest that female casino workers may be exposed to exposures common only in traditional casino occupations, such as cleaning hotels and serving cocktails.
